The New Portage Northern High School

A few years ago, Portage voters passed a bond issue to make significant improvements to several Portage schools. A new high school is being built for Portage Central and Portage Northern High School (PNHS) is going through a major remodel project. This week we attended the PNHS open house and got to see many of the improvements. The project is about 80% done and we were very impressed with the change. While it is ironic that the improvements are occurring as our last child is a senior, the improvements are great for the community (and may help us sell our home someday).
