Quick Cliff Notes Quiz
Phil just finished the quarter at Kalamazoo College and now has 1 1/2 years of college completed. By getting all A's again, Phil has now surpassed the number of A's that I received during my entire four years at Kalamazoo College. Why is this? Respond and give me your vote.
Possible answers:
1) Cliff took difficult sociology classes while Phil is loading up on the much easier math curriculum.
2) Grade Inflation! - Cliff's B's and C's are the same as today's A's.
3) Phil is just that much smarter!

It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas at 1700 North 5th Street
We finally have most of our Christmas decorations up. The best part of this year is that we didn't have to worry about the height of our ceilings. We ended up cutting down two 9 1/2 foot trees. We also have the nativity scene in a great spot. Can't wait for you all to see it.
Face Timing with Matilda
Nearly every morning, Matilda and Jessie FaceTime with us. Of course with Popi in the house, we can easily bring the iPad to him so he can see and talk to Matilda as well. She is doing so many cute things and Popi loves to see her. The new technology provides so many ways to stay in touch.
The birds are visiting Popi at the new house.
This past week, we finally had a chance to put up the bird and squirrel feeders for Popi. It didn't take long for the word to get around to the animal population. We have been invaded and are seeing the most beautiful birds. We have so many red headed woodpeckers, blue jays, and cardinals (must be from Saint Louis). Popi loves it!
I am out of style again!
On our recent trip to Chicago, I had a chance to stop by the Nordstrom's men area. They have the best tie selection and I always love to see all the color choices. The big change this year wasn't in the colors, it was that all the ties were narrow. So here I am with over 40 gorgeous WIDE ties. Luckily when you work in Kalamazoo, you don't have to rush out and update your wardrobe. It will be at least three years before anyone around here knows that the style changed.
