Not much has changed in 23 years!

Since we are in Chicago this morning, Brenda and I joined Matilda and Jessie in walking Bryan to the train stop. He takes one of the local trains to his office. As we walked along, I had flashbacks to 23 years ago and walking Bryan over to Amberly elementary.
We even had a crossing guard to help us across the street. Of course two differences are that Bryan walks with his wife and daughter and he gets paid very well when he arrives!

A Cool Condo In Ann Arbor

Keith and Lisa are renting a three bedroom, 2 and 1/2 bathroom in Ann Arbor. It is just south of I94 and US23. It is beautiful and has many expensive features. Best part - it is 15 minutes to the hospital for Keith and 15 minutes to Dexter schools for Lisa. YEA!

This Girl Loves Dill Pickles!

We took Matilda to Bell's last night for dinner. A dill pickle came with my meal and Jessie told me to offer it to Matilda. Believe or not, she LOVES dill pickles. Here is the proof!

The New Chicago Home for Bryan and Jessie

Bryan and Jessie bought a new home in Hyde Park in June. I have waited to post some photos until they were completely moved in. The town home is at the corner of 54th Street and Hyde Park Boulevard - check it out on Google maps. It is only three blocks north of the Museum of Science and Industry and one block from Lake Michigan - a great location! It is 2,800 square feet with four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Here are some photos. Of course, Matilda's room is really cool.

Matilda has teeth!

Matilda has her first teeth. The two in the lower front have just come in. I tried in vain to get a photo but she just kept covering them with her tongue. I want to include a photo with the post, so here are my teeth instead.

I want Matilda food!

Matilda is moving on to some solid food and it is incredible. These tasty snacks are only 25 calories per 77 items. Can you imagine if Oreo cookies were the same? I would eat 77 every time.
