The competition was fierce, but Brenda has finally picked a name for the new Buick Enclave.
Actually, Brenda has picked three names. Here are the winners and Brenda's rational for each selection:
Family name for the car - It is a tie
"The Red Hot Rocket" - submitted by Keith
Brenda thinks that this name fits the way the car looks. It will be used in many settings like when we tell Philip to "go get into the Red Hot Rocket". This name can also be shortened to "The Rocket" or "The Red Rocket", etc.
"Bolshevik Buick" - submitted by Bryan
We all cracked up when we heard this name. Given that General Motors may soon be owned by the U.S. taxpayers, this is the most timely of the suggestions, but it is a mouth full.
Since the car is so new, it is hard to know which of these two great suggesions will stick.
Mom's Personal Name for the Car: "Bella Rossa" - submitted by Mimi
Unknown to me, Brenda likes to have a personal name for her car. For example, she called the Expedition "Bessie" when she needed to coax her to the gas station before running out of gas. Brenda likes the name Bella Rossa (Italian for beautiful red) for this purpose.

I think I'll have a lot of say as to which of the two general names will stick, and I will personally be trying to get the Bolshevik title to stick.
Although it may jeopardize my winnings, I would like to point out that "red hot rocket" was actually not a choice. I submitted "red hot" and "red rocket", so I will still take credit for the victory.
