A Great Time in St. Kitts

Brenda and I had the wonderful opportunity of traveling to St. Kitts as part of the 2009 Raymond James President's Club Trip. St. Kitts is in the eastern Caribbean and is a beautiful island. We had plenty of time to relax. The Marriott resort had a beautiful pool and a great beach. We went snorkeling and did a day long boat trip along the island. We also have a great time with the other couples on the trip from numerous Raymond James offices.

The seafood was outstanding. We ate outside most nights and even go to go to a ocean-side shack for lunch. I had the freshly caught red snapper (head and all). It was wonderful.

The sunrise was at 5:50 am. Brenda, of course, did not want to miss out on the beauty of the sunrise. So every morning we were up at 5:45 to watch the sunrise from our balcony. Then on to the coffee shop for a latte to bring on our morning beach walk.
Later in the day, we switched from coffee to "Ting with a Sting". Visit us this summer and we will try to recreate this great St. Kitts drink

The trip was a great escape from the stress of the office and a chance for Brenda and I to spend some great time together (especially during the year of our 25th wedding anniversary). I will soon have some photos posted on my blog photo album.

Sounds fabulous -can't wait to try the sting with a ting - or is it ting with a sting ?
As to eating the red snapper - I'd take mine sans head. Mom
