Starting two weeks ago when Laurel received her acceptance phone call for MSU Medical School, she has been crazy trying to get ready. One big step was finding a place to live in Grand Rapids within walking distance of the medical school. Luckily she found a wonderful apartment in the Plaza Tower. This 30 story building is next to the Grand River and Van Andel Arena at the corner of Fulton and Monroe. It houses condos, a Courtyard by Marriott and six floors of apartments. Laurel's room is on the 10th floor and has a view to the west and north. Brenda, Philip, Mimi and I moved her in on Tuesday. Here are a few photos. You all will have to visit.
