One of the favorite places we stayed on our recent Italy trip was Frances Lodge. It is one kilometer outside of Siena and has a beautiful view of the city. Franco and Frances, the owners, are from the area and speak good English. They were very helpful and gave us great suggestions on what to do in the area. They even made restaurant reservations and set up our wine tasting.
As you see, Frances Lodge is beautiful and even offers a pool (much appreciated on a 85 degree summer day). A highlight of our stay was the breakfast - all homemade and locally grown food. We are definitely going back!
