Congratulations David Hudson

Our nephew David Hudson called us today with exciting news. He has won a Fulbright Scholarship to do biology research in Columbia. David is a graduate of Portage Northern High School and is finishing his PhD at the University of Connecticut. David has always been a very hard worker and it is great to see him recognized with one of the most prestigious academic awards. It is also interesting to note that this is our second relative to win the Fulbright Scholarship. My brother Ken won the Fulbright and did research in math in Hungry. My kids wonder where all their brains came from (not me) and it is obvious the gene pool is pretty good on both sides of the family.
