One of the unique aspects about our annual cabin experience is the way we adjust our activities for the weather. 2010 has been a record year for high temperatures. Michigan has averaged five degrees warmer than the summer of 2009. Plus all the lakes are at record high temperatures. Because of this, we went swimming everyday. Both Platte Lake and Lake Michigan were the warmest I have ever experienced. For even further proof, Brenda, Jessie and Bea all went swimming and enjoyed it.
On the other hand, we only had two campfires. After a hot day, hanging out at a fire just didn't sound appealing. We also passed on the bike ride and blueberry picking because of the heat. We always have so much to do at up north, that we keep busy regardless of the weather.

So when's the canoe race going on Youtube?
I am looking for the pictures from the cabins. Have only a couple that Brenda emailed me - is that all there are. I want some for our family phlto album.
