Wine Tasting in California
This past week, Brenda and I were in California for the 2010 President's Club trip. The trip was in Half Moon Bay (just south of San Francisco) and was from Wednesday to Sunday. We went three days early, however, to tour wine country with our friends Mark and Kim Watroba and Lynne Wright and Marci Fishman. Mark and Lynne are both Financial Advisers in the Ann Arbor office of Raymond James. We stayed at the Napa Valley Lodge in Yountville . Yountville in located right between Napa and Sonoma. On Monday we hit seven wineries Napa and on Tuesday we visited five wineries in Sonoma. While both valleys have very impressive wineries, we really enjoyed our day in Sonoma. The wineries seem less commercialized in Sonoma and there is much more open space. It also gives you a more laid back feel (and is cheaper). Here are a few photos from Monday and Tuesday:
