Brenda and I arrived in Capriva on Friday and today is our 4th day. The hospitality of Brenda's Italian relatives always amazes me. Just since Friday, we have been treated to pizza, four wonderful lunches (by lunch I mean three courses followed by dessert), wine at the church bar, wine at the bocce ball court, wine at Sergio's, gelato at the church bar, dinner at Lucia's and tonight Felice is taking us out for dinner. Plus we stopped for a wine tasting in Cormons. The owner of the winery knew Ilvo, of course , and gave us four free bottles of wine. We have another five days of living like this...I hope I can make it. Here are a couple of photos. The internet connection is really slow so I will have to upload more photos when I return.
