Philip takes first place

Philip joined Forensics this year and just participated in his first competition up at Grand Rapids Christain High School. Phil did the extemporaneous speaking event and took first place out of thirteen contestants. It was amazing as he beat many kids who had one or two years of experience. Phil is a natural for this event. He understands and studies current issues and is a great public speaker. I think he has a great future in Forensics. Here he is holding his first place trophy.
