On our first night in Capriva, we had dinner at La Subita. For Brenda and I, this was our second visit. We knew it was a great restaurant and wanted to show it to our Raymond James friends, Mark and Kim and Lynne and Marci (Lynne and Mark work in our Ann Arbor office and we all were continuing on our Baltic Cruise). La Subita is only ten minutes from Capriva and has a beautiful location in the hills. The food is very representative of the area especially incorporating wild game and recipes from Slovenia (which is only five kilometers away). We ordered seven courses and the chef brought out an additional eight courses (yes, it was a 15 course meal). Here are some photos of the food. Absolutely unbelievable! Whoever joins us next time in Capriva, count on La Subita as one of our dinner stops.
