Last weekend was our annual Mulder Winter Weekend (not to be confused with "The Cabins"). It was a real treat for Brenda and I since we snowshoed for the first time this year. 2011/2012 has been a warm winter and the snow melted quickly. Luckily, Traverse City received 4 - 5 inches of snow on Friday night and we had two great snowshoe outings. We also went to the historic Traverse City Movie Theater (see the cool picture) and watched "The Artist". It was just Brenda and I from Portage and this was our first Mulder gathering in 27 years with none of our children. Kinda sad. But I can see Matilda enjoying a winter hike in a backpack in just a year to two...
