For Brenda and Linda's 50th birthday. Mike and I planned a week away to Cabo San Lucas. Mike and Linda own at timeshare at Hacienda Encantada. The room is beautiful and has two bedrooms, three baths and a full living room and kitchen. The view is beautiful (as you see in the photos) and there is so much to do.
On Monday we did a whale watching boat trip and a sunset cruise. Both times, we saw over ten whales. This time of year the whales migrate to these waters to give birth. They like the warmer water near shore and are amazing to watch. They roll over, drive, and make flying leaps out of the water. What a great part of this trip!
Yesterday, Mike and I booked a deep sea fishing trip. We went about a mile off shore and had a lot of success. Mike landed the big one -a 35 pound yellow trail. We also caught 17 mackerel. The best part was that they cleaned the fish for $20 and we brought them back to the resort for dinner. The chef prepared eight different dishes using our fish. We ate outside, looking over the Sea of Cortz and enjoyed the best fish ever. If Mike and I lose our days jobs, at least we know that we can still provide for Brenda and Linda.
