Philip and I went on Saturday to see Michigan play Indiana. We headed over on Friday night with Brenda and had dinner with Laurel and Tom (who is Tom? that is for another blog post). We got up early on Saturday morning and while Brenda headed off to Chicago to shop (boring), Phil and I went to watch the U of M band during their warm up. A freshman trombone in the band, Nathan Werme, played with Phil last year at Portage Northern. Plus it was homecoming so Jeremy Bronson was playing in the alumni band. Following the practice, we tailgating with Barb and Tom and the Bronson/Hopps family (what a treat). I have attached a video of the band playing Hail to the Victors and our relatives who are MSU fans have to watch the video twice.

fantastic video! I missed all that and the Barb and Jeremy clan...shopping was grueling and boring-didn't enjoy Chicago like I usually do. The bright spot was getting to hang out with Bryan and Jessie and eating her DELICIOUS pot roast! Sorry Spartan fans, but, GO Blue!! Brenda
HMMMMM - I didn't see any posts or blogs from LAST week's game!! GO GREEN - GO WHITE!! Sorry Michigan - better luck next year!
