For the last seven years, Brenda has driven a white Ford Expedition. As such a long period of time, this car has become part of Brenda's identity. The boys have always called Mom's car "The Beast" because of its large size. Brenda and Laurel referred to her as "Bessie". The Beast/Bessie is coming off lease on Monday and we will be turning it back in to Ford. It is time for us to get a slightly smaller car with better gas millage. Since our family at home has shrunk in numbers, our vehicles can shrink in size.
The Beast has been a great car(s). The first Ford Expedition was a 2002 and we had it for three years and this 2005 we have had for four years. These cars have hauled many kids, flowers, pumpkins and Christmas trees over the years.
Good bye Bessie/Beast. May you end up with another nice family.
