I know that most of you are going to say "welcome to 45 days ago". Matilda has been walking for awhile and I have been remiss in doing a blog posting about this big event. But I do have a couple of good excuses.
1. I wanted to see her walk in person. Jessie sent us a video showing the first steps, but I needed first person, visual proof. In this age of internet hoaxes and altered photos, one can never be sure. As the chief editor of Cliff Notes, I need to keep my journalistic integrity.
2. I wanted to post an amazing video of Matilda walking. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get videos on my blog. So a photo will have to suffice.
Matilda's development continues to amaze me. Jessie is such a great mother and a wonderful teacher (plus Brenda and I think that Matilda is REALLY smart).
