Remembering Noni

During the holidays, we had many opportunities to think of Noni. Popi talked about her a lot especially on the anniversary of her death and on Christmas Eve, which would have been her 88th birthday. Last year Grandma and Grandpa and my siblings bought us a Christmas cactus for Noni's visitation and funeral. We have had it in our living room ever since. Well guess what? Just before Christmas, the cactus was in full bloom. Seeing it's beauty was a special comfort since Noni loved Christmas Cactus. How wonderful to have a gift that keeps such good memories alive!
