We had a blast over Memorial Day weekend. Laurel and Tom were home for Friday and Saturday and Bryan and Jessie were here the entire weekend. We took advantage of the nice weather and relived some of our old activities. Here are a few highlights:- Laurel is greatly improved in roller blade hockey. She teamed up with Tom to beat Bryan and me. She was awesome and had some great shots (of course Bryan was stuck with me).
- Renting the bike surreys at Celery Flat is a lot of fun and good exercise.
- Dairy Queen hits the spot after riding bike surreys in 85 degrees heat.
- Putt Putt golf is always fun. For $20 total, Bryan, Philip and I had 2 1/2 hours of fun (and came home with a Kit Kat bar, a Blow Pop, and 50 Dum Dum suckers). Boy did this trip bring back some memories. We should go more often.
The only thing missing from the weekend were Keith and Lisa. But they are home on the 21st of June. Can't wait!!
