A pain in my neck - literally!

During the last week of July, I was drying off after a shower and suddenly felt a sharp pain in my neck and down my right arm!  I had an X-Ray which showed no bone damage and the doctor guessed that I had a herniated disc in my neck or a severly pinched nerve.  Well thirteen weeks later, the pain has never gone away dispite physical thearpy, visits to a chiropractor, a message thearpist, and an MRI.  At least the MRI revealed that I have cervical stenosis.  I think that maybe Latin for old age. :)

They are recommending that I take it easy (very hard for me to do) and continue physical thearpy. I also got a home traction machine from Mary McCormick. Hopefully I can stretch my neck, create some space for the nerve and avoid going under the knife!

Me and my home traction machine!  Who needs doctors?
