Phil received some great news last week. He was selected for a very competitive internship with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He will return from London in mid June and immediately fly to New York City to start his 10 week internship.
What a great opportunity to conduct high level economic research and also live in New York City. It will look great on his CV and expose his to the life of a Phd economist. Imagine too the contrast with his life in London?
Of course the bad news is that Phil will miss the cabins and won't be home with us until later August. Maybe a road trip to NYC will be in order? Plus we are planning to have him fly home for the 4th of July.
