A Great Time in Chicago

To properly send Philip off to London, we got together in Chicago with Bryan, Jessie, Keith and Lisa (Laurel had to work) for a few fun days.  In addition to playing with Matilda, which is always a highlight, we had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant MK.  Keith and Lisa had found this place on their Chicago visit last spring and it was a wonderful dining experience.

We also had time in Chicago to do a couple architectural walking tours.  Brenda joined the Chicago Architectural Foundation this summer and one of the perks is free walking tours.  The list of tour options is incredible.  We had a great time and learned a lot about Chicago's rich architectural past.  Of course it helps that the weather was 70 degrees and sunny!!

The architectural tour included a number of inside stops too.  This door is inside the Palmer House Hotel
