Yet another cash crop (if the deer don't get there first)

Our home is on the site of a former apple orchard and vineyard.  While most of the apple trees are well past their prime, we have three trees in the front yard having a bountiful year.  Even though we have not sprayed the apples, most of them are bug free and very good to eat. We are hoping to make a pie and some apple sauce. Of course the deer really love the apples. A doe and fawn come up every morning to have their breakfast. Just save enough for us!
