A Row of Lilac Bushes
As spring has finally come to 1700 North 5th Street, we have discovered a number of really cool stuff growing on our property. This week we found asparagus in a number of areas and also a wonderful hedge of lilac bushes. We have very sandy soil and are hoping that we can plant more asparagus for next year. Check out this year's harvest in the photo below.

Brenda makes the lilacs look even prettier! From the looks of the asparagus, I think you may become farmers when you retire. I see a vegetable stand out by the road!
