A good time was had by all at the annual Mulder Winter Weekend. For those of you who had to miss it, I have included some of my favorite photos above. Other highlights included:
- Food (with an emphasis on healthy food)
- Grandma's outstanding performance in the game of Outburst
- Several great walks (not as good as the dune climb, but close)
- A trip to the food coop - it is an amazing place
- Swimming at the Bayshore Hotel
- Many, many board games
- Cliff's ability to speak German with Helen (Craig and Kathi's exchange student).
While most of the snow in Portage and Toledo had disappeared, Traverse City had a great amount for skiing and snowshoeing. Thanks to Craig and Kathi for hosting all of us.

Cliff,
I hate to break it to you. But that is not Settlers. That is Memoir 44!
Looks like you all had fun.
Jessie beat me to the comment I was going to make.
Also, surely you can format better than that! Make Phil help you.
No wonder the men lost (it was women against men) so badly in the game where Grandma did an outstanding job....most of us were playing Gestures while Cliff was playing Outburst.
Great pictures Cliff, even if you can't recall exact details.
I am not sure that Craig cheated on the scrabble game but he won by default - isn't that what you'd call it when one wins only at the end by going out first and getting all your opponents unused tile values?
I am glad the correct names were given to the games we played - I was beginning to think I'd attended a different party.
Well everyone's a critic these days! Dad, I think the blog post was excellent. We did play much Settlers of Catan however, which Helen enjoyed greatly, it being her first time playing.
